Permian Saddles Odessa High In Four

After a pair of road matches, Permian took care of business at the PHS Fieldhouse.  Mojo knocked off Odessa High (25-18, 25-9, 20-25, 25-8) to improve the district record to 2-2 on Tuesday evening.

   

Nyxalee Munoz led the Lady Panthers charge and finished with 12 kills.  She was followed by Jade Workman with 10, Bethani Fierro with nine, and Anahi Orona with seven kills.  Denali Cardenas topped Permian assists with 22, while Workman recorded 16 more.  Fierro contributed three blocks, and Workman and Orona each had two in the victory.

   

Several Lady Panthers got into the act taking control of the digs.  Natalia Abila dished out 21, Anyssa Cruz had 19, Iliana Garcia finished with 12, Cardenas had 11, and Workman handed out nine more digs.  Workman also had six aces, followed by Cardenas (5), Garcia (2) and Fierro (2).

 

Permian (2-2) will host Midland Lee (2-2) on Friday at the PHS Fieldhouse.
