Permian Sweeps Dalhart In Three

Permian completed a three match sweep of Dalhart (25-19, 25-23, 26-24) in Tuesday’s non-district meeting at the Monterey gym in Lubbock.

Nyxalee Munoz and Lauren Lucas led Permian in kills with 10 each, while Noemi Marquez had six. Makenzie Watson led in assists with 23, followed by Denali Cardenas with seven. Marquez was also credited with 1.5 blocks.

Natalia Abila finished the evening with 12 digs, with Watson adding 10. Julie Franco responsible for four aces and Marquez had three. The Lady Panthers are now one week away from hosting Odessa High in the district home opener on September 24 at the PHS Fieldhouse.
