Permian Suffers First District Loss

The Lady Panthers traveled to Midland Lee for a 2-6A clash.  The Lady Rebels came out on top (25-7, 26-24, 25-23) to hand Permian its first district loss.

Nyxalee Munoz led Permian in kills with eight, with Noemi Marquez ending up with seven.  Marquez also had three blocks.  Makenzie Watson donated 17 assists and Denali Cardenas had four.

Lauren Lucas finished with 18 digs, with Makenzie Watson adding 11 and Natalia Abila having nine. Cardenas recorded a pair of aces.  District action continues next Tuesday for the Lady Panthers as they travel to Amarillo Tascosa.
