Midland Hands Permian Road Loss

Permian came out strong in the district road date with Midland High.  The Lady Bulldogs seemed to have the upper hand in three sets as the Lady Panthers fell 25-23, 25-21, 25-15 at the MHS Bulldog Gym on Tuesday.

   

Nyxalee Munoz finished with 11 kills, while Jade Workman had six. Cianna Harris and Bethani Fierro each recorded three kills.  Workman led in assists with 13 and Denali Cardenas added 11.  Harris and Fierro were each credited with a block.

   

Natalia Abila led Permian’s effort with 16 digs.  Iliana Garcia finished with 14 and Workman with seven.  Anyssa Cruz and Cardenas had five digs each.  Cardenas served up three aces, with Abila and Fierro also dishing out an ace.

 

The scheduled October 23 trip to Abilene High has been moved back to October 31, so the next district game will be on next Tuesday, October 27 at the Permian Fieldhouse against San Angelo Central.
