Catfight Ends In Road Loss

Coming off of a district win over Abilene High, Permian was unable to find its groove in San Angelo on Friday.  The Lady Panthers dropped three straight sets (25-17, 25-16, 25-17) to the Central Lady Bobcats.

Nyxalee Munoz had a team-high seven kills, while Jade Workman finished with six kills for Permian.  Workman led in assists with eight and Denali Cardenas finishing with seven.

Natalia Abila and Iliana Garcia each donated four digs, and Anyssa Cruz had three.  Abila and Garcia each served up an ace for the Lady Panthers.

Permian is back on the road as the next district game is Tuesday at Frenship.  Varsity has a 6:00 p.m. start.
