District Recognizes Lady Panthers

Odessa, TX – After coming up just one game shy of a district title, several Permian players have been recognized as members of the All-District 2-6A team. The Lady Panthers would continue on to reach the Area Round of the state playoffs.

   

Junior Jade Workman was awarded ‘Outstanding Hitter’ by the district, while Coach Gillian Herrera was named as one of two ‘Coaches of the Year’.  Mojo placed three athletes on the First Team selection list, which included seniors Cianna Harris, Sarahi Orona, and Anahi Orona.  Layny Brown and Iliana Garcia, also seniors, were chosen for Second Team honors.
