Mojo Logs Another Sweep

Odessa, TX – As the Lady Panthers inch their way toward district play, they collected yet another three-game sweep on Tuesday.  Permian recorded a convincing 25-18, 25-16, 25-12 win over Monahans at the PHS Fieldhouse.

Junior Jade Workman had a busy evening as she led all statistical categories.  Workman finished the day with 13 kills, 11 digs, 18 assists, three aces, and two blocks in the Mojo victory.  Anahi Quiroz logged 11 kills and Sarahi Orona had 10.  Quiroz also had eight digs, while Layny Brown donated 15 assists.

After Permian and Monahans battled through the opening first set, the Lady Panthers took over the contest.  The Lady Panthers rolled through the second set 25-16, and dominated the final third set 25-12.

All four of Permian’s volleyball teams will be traveling on Friday to visit Fort Stockton in a non-district meeting.
