Mojo Rolls Past Lubbock High

Odessa, TX – Returning to the confines of the Permian Fieldhouse, the Lady Panthers slapped another notch in the win column after disposing of Lubbock High in three sets (27-25, 25-16, 25-15).

Permian and Lubbock High opened the first set in a competitive back-and-forth affair.  The two teams battled to a deadlocked 25-25.  Mojo gained the advantage and secured the 27-25 first set victory.

The Lady Black Cats poured it on the next two sets to close out the meeting.  Permian won 25-16 in the second set and finished with a 25-15 win in the third and final set.

The Lady Panther varsity will be competing in another tournament this coming weekend as they head to Godley.  Meanwhile, the Mojo junior varsity will head south to the Fort Stockton Tourney on August 25-26.
